Working comes in so many different aspects. You can work from home, at a factory, being a stay at home mom, or even working as a waitress. In these crazy times that we are living in there are so many more areas that we, as women, are having to work in and adapt to. For example- virtual learning, if you have kids in school or just learning to juggle working from home instead of being able to go to the office. All of these new and oftentimes difficult changes that we have been dealt. However, you all deserve a round of applause!
That’s what this week’s blog post is going to be about...celebrating ALL working women!!! No matter what field you are in or what your “title” is. Hats off to you and thank you for all you do! You truly are beautiful!
I see you, the mom working from home and juggling her two young kids being home all the time. You are trying to keep your sanity and not miss any important information on your zoom meeting, as your kids are running around and yelling, “Mom” every few seconds. You are an amazing working woman, give yourself a pat on the back! You are doing great, keep it up!
The woman who is going to work everyday as usual, on the frontlines of this pandemic, having to worry about bringing something home to her spouse, kids or parents, I see you! I appreciate you so much and can’t imagine the things you’ve seen or have to deal with everyday. Thank YOU! You are truly an inspiration, a hero, and I salute you! Please stay safe!
To the stay at home mom, who never got a break throughout the summer and now may be looking at having to act as teacher through virtual schooling...I see you! You never give up and though sometimes you want to rip your hair out, or throw in the towel, you don’t, because you are a fighter! Continue the hard work and educating of your kids and know that you are doing a remarkable job!
To the teachers, having to learn how to teach virtually or having to get their classrooms set up for face to face learning...I see you! You are teaching our next generation, and we appreciate you! Thank you and please stay safe!
To the waitresses that are keeping people fed, I see you! It’s crazy out there, and I know you must deal with some not-so-nice customers sometimes, but know you are valuable!
The woman who is making waves at her job, that she has continued going to through this whole year, I see you! You are full of determination and have the work ethic to go with it. Nothing is going to stop you from getting that promotion you have your eyes and heart set on, or from making that new discovery that you are so close to! You are working it, and that new discovery will make some young girl’s eyes open and wish to grow up to be like you! You are paving the way for our younger generation and other women, thank you! Please, continue to persevere, we need you!
Now, for the single mom, who is struggling everyday to figure out how to work, take care of the kids and try to be as safe as possible...I see you! It’s not easy being a single mother on any day, let alone in the middle of a pandemic and now, virtual schooling. You are working from home or having to find reliable and safe childcare while you venture out to work. The decisions you are having to make with school, work, childcare and housework aren’t black and white, there’s a lot of gray. I know you are doing the best that you can, and will continue to fight for yourself and your kids. You got this! Keep your head up and remember just how amazing you are!
No matter what you do, where you go, or how you work, you are priceless! You are beautiful and you are loved! Women are truly amazing creatures and being hard working is just one of our many traits! Please remember how much you are rocking this new normal and don’t be afraid to take a sip of that wine or jump in a bath...you deserve it! And, please continue to stay safe and healthy out there! <3
